GO DAWGS!!!!

Ok It's time for me to be a proud mama!! My godson who I love like my own scored his first touchdown Saturday as a college football player! He is a wide receiver (#28) for the Georgia Bulldogs. This game was special to us in more ways than just that. Chance Veazey who is a baseball player at Georgia was involved in a serious accident 2 1/2 weeks ago. He has suffered a very traumatic spinal cord injury and is now at the Shepherds spinal hospital in Atlanta. Chance is from my home town also and he and my godson were very close and played baseball together in high school. The Georgia Bulldog football team decided to show their support for Chance by putting a baseball sticker with CV on it on their helmets. I just thought it was very fitting that at this dedication game that my godson scored the first TD!! Oh, by the way, We beat Auburn!! Go Dawgs!!
